In scientific terms I can not help but in layman's terms it goes something like this: pollution thins the ozone layer which in turn lets more harmful sun rays through. It is not good for crops and not good for humans. also another thing it does is gives us the haze during the days that can cause health problems. Use a more efficient fuel. Crack down on business that release all the nasty stuff into the air. Some of which by the way causes cancer among other things.
I don't think so, unless there is considerably more television coverage. The problem with womens cricket is that it just doesn't get shown on television, even the world cup wasn't televised over here even though our team made it into the finals. Until this improves then it won't gain in popularity.
Also the ballance of abilities is poor in Womans Cricket. Look at the New Zealand vs Pakistan Match, In the mens cricket this would be a close match to call but in the womens New Zealand won by 223 runs, scoring 373 and bowling Pakistan for 150.

It's not like the ozone layer is a balloon holding in the CO2 and other greenhouse gases. Those gases are simply part of the atmosphere and not under a bunch of pressure to escape through a hole in the ozone.
