As an example, my own college campus features a 4,843 car lot, 31 acres of restored tall grass prairie and 93 acres of forest. That equals over 1,333,000 and 3,999,000 square feet of both prairie and forest respectively which can store around 1,162,036 pounds (527090663.26532 grams) of carbon per year. Even if each car in the lot burns a mere 12 gallons of gasoline per week, the cars still burn 58,116 gallons of gas total and 1,162,320 pounds of CO2 emissions. The numbers may look comparable, but let me remind you that those CO2 emissions are only the subject on one week whereas the carbon stored by the natural acreage is a full year's measurement.
It's very obvious that the vast majority of us are living outside our means in carbon emissions and are greatly contributing to climate change. If everyone on the planet decided to stop driving their vehicles and stop burning fossil fuels for energy as a whole and plant new trees and plants we MIGHT see a turnaround in our environment. Personally, I don't see that happening anytime soon. The human population could also cut meat out of their diet entirely and turn entirely to vegetative diets. As energy flows through one organism into the next, only ten percent of the energy is actually retained. Therefore, eating the corn which fed the livestock is a much more efficient way to feed a population and helps us move away from our carrying capacity. Remember that the phenomenon of human beings is a very new one and we easily outnumber any other organisms in a comparable trophic level. As long as we strive for expansion, we cannot live sustainable lives in conjunction with our environment and we will forever be fighting with nature's own balancing act.

I looked around and from the info I found (or lack of) I'd bet 2001 is the 1st year for that model. The M4 was an S-Works frame in the men's '99 version (high end race) and appears to have filtered down to the Stumpy in 2000 and the women's in 2001.

oooh.. sorry.. I can't help because I have the very same problem. Both were puppies when gotten and never trained to walk on leashes.. My son would just let them out in the fenced in yard. I have tried to walk them and each separately, with no luck. One is 11 yr old blk lab and the other is 56lb. mixed lab. and 11 years old too. They pull and try to run me all over. I once tried both and fell flat on my face in the front yard! I gave up.. I'll keep my fenced in yard and house til they have passed away. I give up the walking thing. Even tried the nose leash which is suppose to train them. They just use the paw and pull it off! At least u have one that walks on a leash. Sounds like you need to teach new one and have a 2nd walker go out with u. They are probably competing with each other to run when on the leash. I see a person in my neighborhood walking 2 huge great danes and one little lady is with them.. They are so good. God only knows how she got them so well trained.. Obedience school? Good Luck
